Gender Affirming WPATH Assessment process

I am a member of the Australian Professional Association for Trans Health (AUSPATH) and regularly provide WPATH assessments and letters for surgery.

I provide a warm, safe, gender affirming space for trans (binary and non-binary) and gender diverse individuals.

I prioritise working collaboratively with you and centering your authentic identity and highlighting your ability to provide informed consent to access gender affirming surgeries.

I can see you for in person sessions or via video conference.  In person sessions are in an office that requires climbing six flights of stairs as the lift is permanently broken.

It usually takes me two sessions to complete a WPATH assessment and letter for surgery.  The cost is $250 per session and unfortunately as this is assessment and not therapy, you are not able to claim a Medicare rebate for these sessions.  However, if you have private health insurance that covers psychology, you should be able to claim money back on your private health insurance.  I do not charge an additional fee for writing the letter.
